Vintage chunky chain link necklace in a silver colour.
I replaced the old closure – I just put on a new stainless steel high quality clasp, and new aluminum jump rings. The clasp is a slightly different colour from the rest.
A super cool and unique piece!
I am unsure of what metal the links are. Someone suggested to me that it may be aluminum, as it hasn’t tarnished, and is too light to be stainless steel.
Keep in mind, that it is still a heavier piece than other necklaces as its so large.
This was mine from the early 2000s. I am quite sensitive to metals, and I don’t recall it giving me any issues.
