Description
Mid century modern pottery piece by award winning designer Ernest Sohn. This ceramic covered dish is likely from the 50’s. Glazed yellow with brown flecks. This piece is unique because many of his pieces were done in neutral colours. This may be a sugar dish, as I have seen matching milk pitchers.
In great condition with no major flaws except for some smudging of the logo on the bottom.
Personally I would only use vintage ceramics for decor purposes, as many older styles are no longer considered food safe. I would also wash this by hand only.
